Het relaisonderdeel bestaat in wezen uit ten minste \u00e9\u00e9n elektromagnetische spoel, een aansluiting voor de stuurspanning, \u00e9\u00e9n voor de bedrijfsstroom en een anker.<\/p>\n<h2>Functies relais<\/h2>\n<p>In het verleden hadden zij de volgende functies in auto&#8217;s (de lijst is niet compleet):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Brandstofpomp<\/strong>: hier betekent de term relais niet dat de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.nl\/producten\/brandstofpomp.html\">brandstofpomp <\/a>wordt aangestuurd, maar dat er een relais is dat dit circuit activeert.<\/li>\n<li><strong>EGR-relais<\/strong>: hier wordt de uitlaatgasrecirculatie geregeld, die afhankelijk is van de luchtdruk en het motortoerental.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gloeitijdrelais<\/strong>: Deze worden aangetroffen in dieselauto&#8217;s, hier zijn ze verantwoordelijk voor het regelen van het stroompad en de timing; d.w.z. voor de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.nl\/producten\/gloeibougies-11006\/\">gloeibougies<\/a>.<br \/>\nIntervalrelais of pulsrelais zorgen bijvoorbeeld voor de ruitenwisser.<\/li>\n<li>Dan zijn er nog relais die bijvoorbeeld verantwoordelijk zijn voor de bediening van de buitenspiegels en voor stoeprandfuncties.<br \/>\nDe bekendste is waarschijnlijk het <strong>knipperlichtrelais<\/strong>. Iedereen weet wanneer het geluid (het sluiten van de contacten op het knipperlichtrelais) verandert. De geluiden worden echter specifiek via luidsprekers uitgezonden. We zijn er gewoon zo aan gewend geraakt.<\/p>\n<h3>Slijtage relais<\/h3>\n<p>In het ergste geval kan een smeulend vuur ontstaan. Dit is uiterst zeldzaam, maar moet u niet onderschatten. De reden is meestal slijtage. De contacten slijten door het constante aan- en uitschakelen. Experts spreken dan van verbrande of vastzittende contacten. Dit resulteert in een hogere weerstand en dus meer warmte. Normaal zal echter een zekering doorslaan in geval van een defect relais.<\/p>\n<div class=\"product-slider\" style=\"--swiper-theme-color: #d80812;--swiper-navigation-size:
