Als bijvoorbeeld de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.nl\/producten\/knipperlichten-11913\/\">richtingaanwijzers<\/a> of de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motointegrator.nl\/producten\/ruitenwissers-12311\/\">ruitenwissers<\/a> niet meer werken, kan dat niet alleen worden veroorzaakt door een defecte zekering, maar ook door een kapot knipperlichtrelais of intervalrelais.<\/p>\n<h2>Wat zijn relais in auto&#8217;s?<\/h2>\n<p>Voor gebruik in motorvoertuigen worden robuust vervaardigde relaistypes gebruikt die bestand zijn tegen hoge temperaturen en schokken. Zij werken met de aan boord beschikbare spanning van 12 of 24 volt en schakelen dus hogere stromen. De meeste relais worden aangesloten met 6,3 mm platte stekkers en hebben vaak een extra diode of weerstand in de behuizing om de onderlinge inductiespanning te beperken. Veel soorten relais die in moderne auto&#8217;s zijn ingebouwd, hebben meestal extra functies en zijn al lang gemuteerd tot kleine besturingseenheden of elektronische assemblages.<\/p>\n<h2>Voorbeelden van relais<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Het knipperlichtrelais geeft de tact van de richtingaanwijzer aan.<\/li>\n<li>Of de intervaltijd nu door de bestuurder kan worden ingesteld of door een regensensor wordt gestuurd, het intervalrelais is de tactgever voor de ruitenwisser.<\/li>\n<li>De brandstofpomp wordt, afhankelijk van het toerental, door het brandstofpomprelais van de nodige brandstof voorzien.<\/li>\n<li>Het gloeitijdrelais is verantwoordelijk voor de timing en de regeling van de stroomweg van de gloeibougie in de dieselmotor.<\/li>\n<li>Het EGR-relais regelt de recirculatie van uitlaatgassen afhankelijk van de luchtdruk en het motortoerental.<\/li>\n<li>De trottoirfunctie en de inklapbare buitenspiegel worden eveneens door een relais bediend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hoewel kleine besturingseenheden of elektronische assemblages nu verantwoordelijk zijn voor de werking van de verbruikers, zijn relais nog steeds aanwezig in veel van deze apparaten. De eigenlijke term is echter eerder historisch, aangezien complexe besturingseenheden reeds lang verantwoordelijk zijn voor het schakelen van de elektrische verbruikers in moderne De gebruikershandleiding vermeldt er een aantal. Vaak bevinden de onderdelen zich aan de rechterkant van het motorcompartiment of onder het stuur aan de linkerkant. Als u geluk heeft, is het bedradingsschema op het paneel getekend. Let op dat u de relaiskast niet verwart met de zekeringkast! In ieder geval moet u de accu van het voertuig loskoppelen voordat u tot vervanging overgaat.<\/p>\n<h2>Vervangen van een kapot relais in een auto<\/h2>\n<p>Zodra u het defecte relais hebt ge\u00efdentificeerd, moet u nagaan of er een identiek onderdeel in de kast zit. Hiermee kunt u gemakkelijk testen of de elektromagnetische schakelaar inderdaad de oorzaak is van het niet werken van de richtingaanwijzer of de ruitenwisser. De meeste relais zitten vast, maar ze kunnen nog vrij strak zitten. Wees voorzichtig dat u niets beschadigt wanneer u een onderdeel verwijdert. Gebruik een schroevendraaier om het defecte onderdeel door een identiek onderdeel te vervangen. Als de richtingaanwijzer niet werkt na het vervangen van de apparaten, installeert u beide relais weer op de plaats waar ze oorspronkelijk zaten. Misschien zijn beide onderdelen kapot of zit het defect ergens anders verstopt.
